What you'll actually do

Rose Island is 20 minutes out and a world away.

It's the strip of sand just east of Nassau harbour — shallow, clear, and quiet once the day boats thin out. We run two snorkel stops on the reef, then beach the boat so you can swim, eat, and meet the pigs without a queue.

Swimming pigsBring a slice of fruit. They'll swim right out to the boat.
Sea turtlesGreen turtles feed in the grass beds most mornings.
Reef snorkelingTwo sites, gear included, shallow enough for first-timers.

You're out with Capt. T-Mac.

Born and raised on these waters. He runs the boat, finds the turtles, mixes the rum punch and takes the photos you'll actually want to keep. Small groups only — ten guests maximum, so nobody's fighting for a spot on the bow.
